This includes an experience for one person.They will extract, bottle, and label 6 (500g) jars of honey to take home for themselves - a $60 value! You are able to choose from the bottled honey from the session OR from our complete line of natural, infused or creamed honey.

What You Will Do
We will start with an overview of how honeybees produce honey, sample honey and then cruise out to the bee yard to remove some honey supers. We will then return to the barn to cover your step by step honey extraction process.The honey harvest is by far the most coveted time of year. Our extraction experience is a fun opportunity where guests have the opportunity to experience the final steps of a beekeepers season. Observe, learn and participate in removing honey supers, learn how to prep honey frames and then extract, filter and bottle your own honey to take home.

Who Will Guide You
Beekeeper Dave and Beekeeper Keri are third generation beekeepers, partners and owners of Hunnabees Honey & Co. They manage all of the colonies owned by Hunnabees and run all educational experiences with over 13 years experience beekeeping under their belts.

There is a shipment that will be sent to participants before the session. Shipping is FREE and available in Downtown Toronto, Montreal and the Greater Vancouver Area.

Group Tasting vs. Private Tasting
When you purchase a single or double ticket, these are part of a group class. Our group classes are offered less frequently than our private classes. All of our group class dates are posted on our website and new dates are added all the time. Once you have selected your date, your tasting kit will be sent.

Each month the main spirit of the cocktail kit will be different.

Private Classes are available to book at your convenience, our easy scheduler makes it easy to find a date and time that works for you and your group. You will be able to select the alcohol type featured in your private workshop. You will be contacted after your reservation is finalized to gather the shipping addresses for all the participants.

Our private sessions are for up to 6 people, if you would like a private session with more than 6 people, please contact help@thoughtfull.co to have a custom event created for you.

During the 5 hours, you will forge your own handcrafted axe using not much more than a hammer. All materials needed will be provided on site and you get to take your custom axe home with you!

What You Will Do

Meet at a local coffee shop for a light snack and refreshments before the workshop begins. After an initial orientation, head to the forge and allow your creativity and appreciation for metal work to collide with an opportunity to forge your own handcrafted axe. Learn how to heat carbon steel in a forge and shape it into an axe with an anvil and various hammers. We will walk you through the heat-treating process, grinding, and sharpening. Solid wood handles will be fitted to your custom axe before you take it home!Inspired by a love of the Canadian wilderness, the blacksmiths at Axcadmy lead you through an experience of building an axe with your hands, directly from the raw materials.

Participants must be 18+ and will be required to sign a liability waiver before the workshop begins.

Additional Information
Participants will be provided with safety glasses and gloves. We recommend you wear a cotton long sleeve shirt, long pants, and steel toed shoes throughout the duration of the workshop.
